"Undone" was written for the Push and Shove album.
"Undone" has been called an early favorite from guitarist Tom Dumont. They refer to it as "gorge" ballad and was written in early February of 2012.
"Undone" was one of the first time Gwen reached out to Tony to help with lyrics. Gwen wrote the song while visiting London without her husband, Gavin, which is whom the song is rumored to be about.
Tom told Entertainment Weekly that he thinks "Undone" might be one of the toughest songs to pull off live from the album.
"Undone" has been called the only "ballad" on the album.
